Create a garden of dramatic proportions. Create levels in the design connected by stepped access. Build large structures out of concrete and paint an aubergine colour. | |

Create symmetrical steps to curve softly up to a raised balcony level from which to view the garden. | | 
| | Alcove
Below the balcony, create a secret alcove. Place a mirror at the back of this and then attach wrought iron gates to continue the Art Nouveau theme. | |

Pave the patio and step areas with dark blue/black slate to compliment the aubergine rendered structures. | | 
| | Planting
Contrast the colour of the structures by planting fantastically theatrical flowers and foliage. Go for lavenders, lilacs and Indian bean trees along with hostas to create an altogether romantic feel garden. | | |
