Community radio station and charity Wythenshawe Fm is celebrating the 60th Anniversary of World War Two through Home Front Recall. Wythenshawe remembers is bringing the memories and stories from World War Two to the stage. In association with the CSV Action desk at BBC GMR we are also submitting these stories to the People's War website. Wythenshawe Fm is working with a local playwright to transform audio and visual memorabilia of World War Two into a stage play which will be toured across local primary schools in the Wythenshawe area. All the material gathered for the project will be used as part of a special 60th Anniversary celebration broadcast commencing over the summer.
