Born in Oswaldtwistle on June 15 1929 Mother Margaret Hindle (nee Scholes) father Herbert Hindle. Born at 45 Cross Street my granddads house. Moved to Simpson Street Oswaldtwistle for a short while then moved to 9 India Street Accrington and lived there until 1937 when we moved back to Oswaldtwistle 39 Cross Street. From there to 8 Foxhill Terrace then to Richmond Street Accrington.
In 1950 I was taken for National Service with the RAF until 1952. In 1954 moved to Gloucester and in 1966 moved to Poole in Dorset where I am currently living at 25 meadow Rise, Broadstone. BH18 9ED
