About the contributor

I have joined this website to write my mum's war memories online, to capture them. We do not have very much information about my grandparents as they are no longer alive but I think it's great to hear how a little girl saw Britain during WW2. I, myself, am a social historian and work in the museum sector and think it is really important to collate oral and written testimonies of what life was like for real people throughout history.
