I am the son of a Parisian woman that lived through the occupation of France before she emmigrated to Minnesota in the USA in 1947, and a father that was in the 75th Infantry Division of the US Army in the western theatre of the war in 1943 and 1944. I am there eldest son, now almost 50 years of age. I have come to realize that I am the product of a time when achieving peace was necessary. If the allies had not achieved justice against the nazis and facists, I would not exist. I am more interested in the stories of individuals'that fought in their own way for justice than in WW II per say. The very rare original poster I wrote about previously is a precious testament to that cause.
