I was born in Brighton in Sussex in June 1940 so at present I am 65 years old.

My parents were older than most of my contemporaries parents my mother being 42 when I was born. My only brother is 17years older than me so was old enough to take part in the 2nd world war.

Living in Brighton, which was on Britain's front line, during the war, although only being a child, I have many vivid memories of the war. I was also raised on many anecdotal stories of the war from my family.

I am an avid reader of factual books about both ww1 and ww2, also I have a collection of video's on the same subjects.
