I am a radio producer working at BBC Radio Cornwall working for an organisation called CSV or Community Service Volunteers. Over Christmas 2003 I recorded a series of 7 interviews with people currently living in Cornwall who remember WW2. After they were broadcast I received a number of letters from listeners telling me their WW2 stories. I have their permission to publish those stories on this site so they can be read by future generations. On a personal note, I am originally from Guernsey, Channel Islands, which was occupied during WW2. I am far too young to remember that, but I clearly remember the stories my grandparents told of life under German rule.
