I grew up in the war in Bristol. My mother was in the Civil Defence in the Clifton area. She was called Jessie Walsh. I wondered if any of her friends are still alive.
My friends at school were Evelyn Scammel and Barbara Scammel. I wonder if they are still in Bristol.
