I was born and brought up in Sheffield, but have lived in S. Wales since 1982. I was ordained in 1985, and am now the Anglican priest in Nelson, near Caerphilly. I married my wife Beverly in 1986.

My dad and grandad both worked for the firm Hodkin & Jones, who apparently were pioneers in modern and experimental uses of concrete --- hence they were both seconded to work on the Mulberry Harbour. Dad died in 1973, when I was 13, and never talked about the War or his experiences. All this came to light since his death.
