A little bit about me
I used to be the producer of WW2 People's War, taking it from a glint in the BBC's eye through to its full launch in November 2003.
I'm now working on the BBC's messageboardsAbout links, but will be popping back here every so often to see how things are getting on.
When I'm not thinking about how the Internet can help people come together, I play football for Queen Mary College Old BoysAbout links, and I've lately been seeing more contemporary danceAbout links.
A little bit about my grandad
My grandad, Harold Booth, served in the 8th Army under the famous "Monty"About links. He was in the artillery and travelled to north Africa and then up through Italy, spending four years away from home.
Doing this website has made me appreciate what an incredible thing he did at an age where I was barely out of university. Unfortunately he died a couple of years ago. However, with a bit of help from the rest of my family, we'll make sure his memory lives on through this website.
