About the contributor

I was too young to appreciate the contribution my brothers made during WW2. I now wish to record their stories in order that future generations will realise how brave they were. Of course the war distroyed family life as we knew it and their hardships continued with them all their lives. I have started with the events on the home front and how the the younger members of the family had a much easier time.
I intend getting copies of my brother's service records and will write more once they come to hand.
