Posted on behalf of Private/Lance Corporal Dennis March serving with the Leicester Regiment and Seaforth Highlanders.

The Leicester Regiment was a Holding Battalion and the Seaforth Regiment the 6th Morayshire Battalion.

The Battalion was part of the 17th Infantry Brigade of the 5th “Y” Division.

Dennis passed away in September 2002 shortly after his memoirs were completed. These have been posted in their entirety as a legacy to a proud and much loved member of the March/Ritchie family.
