I am the daughter in law of Albert Street who, with great reluctance, retold this story about the horrors he endured whilst a prisoner of war in Singapore. Unfortunatetly, Albert died in 2001 and I feel that his story needs to be told. Future generations need to know what our fore-fathers did for us and be grateful.
