As a volunteer presenter of Mater Hospital Radio
I have heard many fasinating stories from patients.
and have recorded a few for posterity,
hoping to get many more through this opportunity, I think its important to record experiences of the War years so that young people can appreciate the sacrifices made.
my grandfather was Samuel Burrows, he served in the Navy and his brothers were in the Royal Air Force and the Army, I am hoping to delve further into this story, and others. I also have an Uncle, Eddie Brown, who served in the Air Force and was a navigator, so I'm sure to enjoy listening to his story. and many others.
