V.E Day was celebrate dat site eight in Warton by American soliders and people came from three miles around.

It All started as the Americans started burning everything in site apart from people the evrebody joined in with the fun.

People who lived on our street knew the americans extremly well as they had a supplies base at the bottom of our street so we knew their names as we talked to them and they gave us chocolate on a regular bacis.
