My uniy moved to RAF Gatow Berlin in the Autumn of 1945. wwe moved to Berlin from Hanover. I remembere visiting a Malcolm Club in berlin a few times. this was a RAF type of Naafi. russian soldiers were allowed in,and they were usually armed.I also went to a few concerts to hear the Berlin Symphony Orchestra under Furtwangler.We paid our entry with cigarettes.One day we went to the Olympic Stadium to see a soccer match.The British Army playeds the American Army,and they beat us...Itwas a very cold winter,the Germans were always cutting down trees for firewood.when the war began I was at school. when it ended I was in the heart of Germany.A long time ago but not too hard to remember.My uniit was 13 Air Formation Signals Regt.Sorry no picture
