In his declining years my father took to writing about his lifetime experiences and since his death in 1996 I have published these on my personal website.
His first book and the one of which was most proud was titled The War "as I remember it" and recounted his experiences from recruitment through Africa and Italy in some detail.
This war story is quite lengthy and contains pictures and is best viewed on the website www.hassocks18.fsnet.co.uk/default.htm
