Rumour has it that the Japanese were planning an attack and reinforcements were required in the Knagla tongbi area near Imphal,so I found myself in a Box waiting for orders,when I was told that I had been posted to a secret unit inside Burma, so I took a utility back along the ridge to Kohima, where I had a sandwich with Ted Ellis at the supply depot,before setting out down the road through the defile to Dibrugarh. When I arived the Major said"Three Thousand Japanese have broken through the Jesame Tracks to Kohima, take eight men ,,,,
