Hi Ron.
Thanks for that. There are a few chapters to come. I hope you continue to find them interesting and perhaps most unusual.
Incidentally, among this large military family of mine was a cousin who served with the 14/20 Hussars and a farrier in the Scots Greys. Unfortunately he passed on several years ago.
