When my granda was about five years old, he went outside one day, and he looked up towards the air field which was about three quarters of a mile away, and the sky was full of parachutes, and he paniked, then went in shouting 'mam, mam, were being invaded!!!' Turned out it was just a load of british soldiers practising jumps for the D-day landings!!!
