My great granddad fought in ww2 and there were good moments and bad moments.
It all started with him and his friends and they all thought it would be cool to join the army.
My great granddad name was john.
A few year past and then the ww2 started he was only 21 years old. John hated having to leave his family but as he always uses to say "it’s for my country".
His fends Ben, Franky, Sam and mark all were in the same regiments. They were usually put together for some things.
The first place he had to go to was France there he fought he was there for 4 months and was moved again but I don't know were as I was too young to reamer all the tuff he told.
One thing I remember about the place he when to is he was I a tank with his mates. They stopped to all go to the toilet. But be for the did they covered the tank with some leaves and twiges. Then when they came back to the tank and saw it get blown up by a panther a German tank.
