I dont know much about my grandad in the second world war, but what I do know is that he was in the Irish Guards (apart of the British Army) in the Royal Air Force. I dont know what he exactly done throught out the war but I no that he did jump into Germany. He jumped into Germany (not knowing the part of the country) and was shot just before jumping. Luckly it was only in the foot and had that seen to when in Germany. He fought in the country for about 2 months, making a path for the allies. After that was acomplished the American soldiers entered the country and they had a few days of resting.
But all I no is that every man who thought for the freedom of others were brave and all heros. Their the ones who gave up time out of their peaceful lives to help other countries to make sure that people like Hitler could never rule again.
