Machine gunning at the bottom of the garden.

Who would have thought that picking raspberrites at the bottom of the garden could be dangerous?
My Gran was picking raspberries at the end of her garden after a raid when a German plane flew over and started machine gunning. Her Gran was standing at the door screaming her head off at her to come in.
My Grandma was 8 at the time.
