My grandfather was in the war. During that time he was taken capture by the Germans. At one point he was asked by the Germans to go do a message for them. They give him a small note and told him to jog over the fields to a nearby village. As he ran through a field he got this sudden impulse to duck to the ground. As he did this bullets flew over his head.
