i am trying to find out information about my Great Grandfather. He was in the R.A.F and was with groundcrew. He served as part of the B.E.F and was evacuated out of northern France. He went on to serve in north africa and Italy.

In Italy he was mentioned in despatches and received his "Oak leaves" for driving a buring tanker out of an Italian village. I don't know any more than this. I would be extremely grateful if anybody knows where I can find more information on him - or if anybody knows about him.

Yours sincerely,

Mark Whitelock
