He was an electrician in Coventry on the day of the blitz in Coventry. He said that all the buildings that he had worked on were there one day, then the bombing went on for 24 hours, and when he finally managed to get back into the centre of Coventry, nothing was standing. And the amount of bodies that were just scattered all over the place, everybody was stunned. But the one thing that came out of it was the togetherness of the people of Coventry.
