Sky full of planes

I remember sitting in my back garden in Llanlen, Abergavenny when I was 8 years old when all I could see was a sky full of planes dropping bombs. Afterwards all I could see was lots of little fires after they had all blown. And then of course I went round the garden picking up the casing of what was left.
