L to R Keith Marsh, Ron Crawley, George Bridgemond & Ernest Stonestreet as Bevin Boys at Hirwaun Hostel South Wales 1945.

The picture here was taken at the end of a shift at Rhigos Colliery, South Wales. For the rest of Ernest Stonestreet's story please see the entry called Bevin Boy 1945. After the war, Keith Marsh on the left of the picture was Ernest's best man.
