My father was Jack Hann RAF no 1226272,

he was in India and Burma, and came home on a ship, with the Red Cross,we think he was ground staff, keeping air fields open,
the only things he mentioned was that the yacht he came home on was King Farouks,
EL-NIl, and that it stood on end in the Bay of Biscay and they nearly went down,
I do have a photo of the yacht and,if any one wants a copy i can send one,
Where did the El -nil pick up from,
and what is the least expensive way to find out Jack Hann's service records,
He did have the Burma Star, but he may have been able to claim other medals,
which we are interested in, but it didnt bother him!!
when he was ill at about ninety years old, he did keep talking about the jungle and snakes,
