False teeth
On the 23 of March we had some visitors to tell us about their
We talked to a man called Mr Stark. He was a young child in the War, he was about five or six.
He told us many funny stories and here is one of them.
One day a bunch of people were in their house when they heard some planes flying above the house. They ran outside into their garden to go into their Anderson Shelter, but on the way one lady stopped. She said “I’ve forgotten my false teeth!”
Then the lady’s husband said “It’s bombs they’re dropping not sandwiches!!”
We both thought that this story was really funny.
