I have written a book about 'S' Company, Scots Guards, attached to 2 Bn. Coldstream Guards during the WW2 Italian Campaign - 1944-45. This company was first commanded by my uncle, Captain A.S. Neilson, who was awarded the DSO at Monte Piccolo and died of wounds at Monte Lignano. The company was subsequently commanded by Major R.L. Coke DSO MC and includes part of his diaries and many maps, pictures, letters and reminiscences. The book, A Pilgrimage of Remembrance, by Michael Curtis, ISBN 0-9549044-0-0 can be obtained from the author at Gastons, Kilmeston, nr. Alresford, Hampshire, SO24 ONL, at a price of £19 + p&p of £3.95.
