My great uncle (Rudolf von Ribbentrop) was in the Waffen-SS during the second world war. When he was in Russia he destroied 14 enemy tanks! On d-day he fought against the Americains (well not on D-day. On D-day -3 he was wounded by a spitfire but was back in action by d+3). He was in the 12th SS Panzer division. I know this forum is mainly for British people (I am british too) but I was wondering if there is aneyone who is related to aneyone or knows aneyone who served with him and can tell me aneymore infomation. He drove a panzer iv.
