My Grandad Edward Rowles was in the 2nd. world war.He was in Germany(I'm not sure where) when he met my nana in a hospital after he was shot in his left leg by a German soldier. He was not too badly hurt but it was enough to put him out of action for 7 months. In the meantime he had this wonderful nurse who had taken care of him they had fallen in love and 2 months after he got out of hospital they got married in England. They went on to have 4 childrenand 5 grandchildren and were married for 43years until my nana died.
We miss them both so much but they live on with their stories and in our hearts.
