vid managed to sit on a washbasin in the toilet where he went to sleep, but on waking his backside was soaking wet (he had managed to sit on the press down button during the night).

We also took our dog called Peter (we also had two cats but these were lost during the bombing) and never did find their whereabouts.

I seem to remember there were between nine and thirteen people killed in our road and would love to have more information on them.

Our time in Yorkshire was most enjoyable and I have still very fond memories but always will feel sad that my baby brother Tony did not survive the war.
