My grandfather was in WWII (he survived). I believe he was fighting in Holland.

His name was Frederick Burns and was from Stockton-On-Tees in the North East of England.

I'd be interested if anyone had any information on his war.

For example, I'm not sure what regiment he was in. It may have been a Welch regiment (according to my grand mother).
