MY FATHER WAS STATIONED WITH 170 VEHICLE PARK 165A.O.D AT CAEN LATER DURING THE WAR IN THE ARDENNE HE LEARNT TO DRIVE THE HARD WAY. His sergeant said to him can you drive corporal wright, abit he said well drive now because ther is a german armoured column comming this way this was the only mention my father made of the war so i assume he saw something horrific which he blocked out he took this with him to his grave.stephen t wright rn ret.
