When my grandma was born she was born in to the second world war. Her family was large, there was 10 in there house. They lived on the back on the york railways track which was always being bombed. They never had no bomb shelter so the ywould hide under the large wooden table in there kitchen. If a bomb was dropped near them they would not have survived.
