Hankie enclosed with letter to Kenneth taylor's sister Alice Taylor. Letter dated 12th december 1944

In his letter dated 12th December 1945, to my Aunt Alice Taylor my uncle, 2512003, sgt Taylor, K R (Kenneth) 41 sec 12 LofC Sig BLA, idicates that he is going to Paris for 48 hours on Friday.

He also says “My battle dress- especially the trousers are very untidy. Worn it every day for 8 months in all sorts of conditions”

He concludes his letter “I’m enclosing a little hankie- I think it must be handmade. Please accept it with my best wishes for your happiness always”

I wonder if he was embarked on D Day?

In his letter dated 8th May 1944 he is recorded as having moved from Purly, surry to no. 3 coy of Signals. and by 17th of july he was with 41 section 12 lofC sigs BLA
