After seeing the two excellent programmes about Dunkirk on tv last weekend, just wanted to add that my father, FC Aberdein, RASC, was still in France after the main evacuation and didn't leave until, he thinks, about June 16. His platoon was abandoned by their officer and made their own way to Brest. That's the story, you can ask him if you'd like to.
