The well is on the Herefordshire side of the Wyche cutting.

From here it's easy to walk up to the Worcestershire beacon or along the hills towards British camp.

There is a cafe very near to this well.

Malvern Hills District Council put a warning on all the wells saying that the water should be boiled before drinking.
