The well is situated on the hills above the West Malvern Road near St James and the Abbey school.

There is a good circular walk around North Hill that begins and ends at the Well on Westminster Bank.

Parking is at a premium at weekends when lots of people like to walk this section of the hills.

Malvern Hills District Council put a warning on all the wells saying that the water should be boiled before drinking.
