The incident happened on Tuesday 11th May 2004 in the morning at the roundabout next to HA Fox's Jaguar Garage on City Walls Road.

The vehicle was responding to an emergency callout at Nunnery Wood High School on Spetchley Road, where a post box had been reported as being on fire.

All five officers who were on board at the time were taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.

Another crew, from Droitwich Spa, responded to the original incident at Nunnery Wood School.

The Fire Brigade sent a specialist team to the site to assess how to retrieve the vehicle.
