Help playing audio/video Lee and Rich wanted to carry on in a band together, but rather than continue with the Ponies material, they wanted a fresh start with new material as well as a new line up. Nick (ex-Jacobs Ladder front-man) was asked to play guitar and with his quirky song writing and strong vocals, has since developed into the bands front man. ![]() Dave (Bad Taste), was approached to do the bass honours. Lee said: "I'm still inspired by the great bands from the past, like Guns and Roses, Queen, Sound Garden, Iron Maiden, Faith No More, Gay Dad and of course later bands like Muse, Mastodon, Turin Breaks, System of a Down etc." Rich said: "We love writing and recording, but playing live is what its all about, that's where we give everybody, heart & soul!" Nick said: "Mudball have been described as a mixture of Muse, Presidents of the USA & The Foo Fighters, which makes sense to us." Lee stepped out of the band in 2009 and Becky Rose joined on additional vocal duties.
