Nikki Sanderson spoke to BBC Hereford and Worcester's Tony Fisher about her role as the new ambassador for World Vision's 24 Hour Famine.

She's probably best known for playing Candice Stowe in Coronation Street for six years, but Nikki has been very busy since leaving in 2005.

As well as appearing in a production of The Vagina Monologues, she has also been in Strictly Confidential and has sung in celebrity versions of Stars In Their Eyes and The X Factor.
