Dubmerge are one of the longest-running bands in the two counties and are unique in the way that their members live in both Hereford and Worcester. Since forming in 1993, the band have toured all over Europe, playing in the Republic of Ireland, Germany, Holland, France and the Czech Republic. ![]() Dubmerge also teach kids how to rap and DJ They're also active on the live music scene, having played the massive Dour Festival in Belgium and three times at Glastonbury. As well as the live band, Dubmerge also bring their own soundsystem to events, supporting the likes of Blak Twang, Phi-Life Cypher, Skinnyman, Fallacy, Killa Kella and Task Force, spinning their unique mix of reggae, dancehall and hip-hop. Recently, the eight-piece have teamed up with the reggae-producer Powerstepper, who's been creating rhythms for the band, and the former lead singer with Zion Train, Molera. Together they have been working on a new album with the UK Dub legend Mad Professor - the man behind Massive Attack.
