Weekend PresentersYou are in: Hereford and Worcester > BBC Hereford and Worcester > Weekend Presenters > Ellie Targett ![]() Ellie Targett, Saturday mornings from 11 Ellie TargettEllie takes you back in time with thirty great tracks and all the news and gossip you can handle on Targett's Top Tens, every Saturday from 11am. Ellie started her broadcasting career in commercial radio reading news, traffic reports, doing voiceovers for commercials and presenting breakfast and afternoons shows - plus making the tea! She was also an actress and appeared at the Edinburgh Festival, but gave up the theatre to pursue a full-time career in radio. She is married with two boys and three grand children - however she has to be 'granny on the phone' because they all live in Australia. Last year she published her father's story 'Another Man's Shoes' and is busy writing her first children's novel. She enjoys walking her two dogs Chloe and Pippin, keeps fit at the gym, and competes her horse L'Esprit at elementary dressage - her great passion. She loves her family, her garden, swimming, and the countryside of the two counties, but her favourite place is Norway where she grew up, and she hates political correctness. Targett's Top Tens plays the best songs from three chosen years and looks at the world and pop history making the news at the time. You can listen to Ellie's show every Saturday from 11am on BBC Hereford and Worcester, or listen on demand at a time that suits you.last updated: 20/07/07 You are in: Hereford and Worcester > BBC Hereford and Worcester > Weekend Presenters > Ellie Targett
