Nine members from St. John’s Jets’ travelled up to the recent West Midlands Trampoline Competition in Birmingham and all acquitted themselves well against tough opposition. Star of the day for the club, which is based at St John’s Sports Centre in Worcester, was Lucy Manganiello, who was a clear winner in the Under 18 girls grade six event. Zoe Knight also did well with a fine third place in the Under 13 girls grade six with Paige Dixon close behind in fifth. In the popular Under 11 girls grade six event Georgia Griffin finished third with Daisy Andrews 14th. There were also notable performances at grade four from Katherine McAuley, who came 11th, and Josie Lewis who finished 12th, this being their first time at this higher standard. |
