IoW 2007 was fantastic just blooming fantastic. My first festival and at 51 years of age I sure have missed a lot of them. 3 days/nights in a tent, wonderful. The Stones were probably the crowd puller and they were good BUT Kasabian, Snow Patrol, Ash, Keane, James Morrison, Fratellis, Muse all absolutely brilliant (I hadn’t heard of half of them before). However the show stealer, the one who just seemed to love what he was doing, had to be Paulo Nutini (hadn’t herd of him before either). He was superb. The trip from Ireland on planes trains and ferries, the £125.00 weekend fee, the iffy loos, even the miles of walking form tent to stage and back again - all worth it, worth every minute of it. Don’t know what the line up is for next year, don’t care, I’ll definitely be there. BRING IT ON. IoW 2008.

Tom
It was my first ever music festival and I enjoyed every bit of it ( perhaps apart from queuing to toilets and not being able to have a proper shower for like 3 days!)I imagine loads of people attended because of the Rolling Stones but my favourite band were Muse-they were amazing! Mick was right though- the burgers , and in may case, chips, were a bit dear! But what can you expect- you either have good organisational camping skills or you just bring loads of cash with you. Still, Isle of Wight was a fantastic experience. Ribee Dibee Do! Cheers guys!
