A BIG thank you to all the supporters who braved the weather and stayed outside to cheer us all on. For those of us who took over 2 hours to get round, the support was a real pick-me-up when the rain lashed and the wind chilled! Thank you all!

I did the Great North in 2003 and have to admit that the Great South is much more fun and the crowds and runners really helped me along. I did the run in 1hour 43mins and 29secs, my best time ever. I shall be there again next year.

Very well run Pod. It was great run on a wet and windy day. The money you raised makes it all worthwhile. Now go and have a lovely holiday. Love Dad x
