Goodbye Stereo

The Isle of Wight band who are currently making waves popped into the South:Live Lounge to share their top tracks.

Goodbye Stereo are the latest band with big potential to emerge from the Isle of Wight. Their blend of infectious lyrics and hooks in all the right places has won the indie/pop quartet admirers far beyond the Island's shores.

The group have played colossal amount of performances around the UK; most recently supporting Bournemouth band Air Traffic.

They have become regulars on the festival circuit - no doubt helped by vocalist Sam's day-job working in a camping shop. they've already been on the bills of the Isle of Wight Festival, Bestival and they even put in an appearance at the Island's Garlic Festival.

Like other Isle of Wight bands, Goodbye Stereo have the added obstacle of having to pay the costs of travelling to gigs on the mainland if their careers are going to progress.

However Sam and guitarist Danny are philosophical about it: "It's literally as difficult as you make it - it's a little holiday every time you go across!"
